The Challenge

Design and build a project, in teams of up to four people, that integrates electronic hardware with the Google Gemini API. We encourage you to think outside the box and create something truly unique.

Possible Project Ideas
  • A smart home device that responds to voice commands using Gemini and controls appliances via Arduino.
  • A sensor-based environmental monitoring system that uses Gemini to analyse and interpret data.
  • An interactive art installation that responds to user input and generates dynamic content using Gemini.
  • A robotic system that uses Gemini for natural language navigation or task execution.
  • A wearable device that uses Gemini to provide real-time information or assistance.
  • A system that uses sensors to detect changes in the environment, and then uses the Gemini API to produce relavent infomation and display it on a screen.

What to Build

  • Hardware Integration: Your project must incorporate some form of electronic hardware (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, actuators, etc.).
  • Gemini API Utilisation: Your project must leverage the Google Gemini API to enable intelligent interactions or functionalities.
  • iForge Spirit: Utilise the resources and tools available at the iForge to bring your vision to life.

What to Submit

  • A link to a public GitHub repository (or somewhere hosting your code)
  • Pictures/videos of your project (we want to see them!)
